NewWorks – An Evening of Dance is a curated performance platform dedicated to the
creation and presentation of original dance works.
Founded by Tanya Chauhan, NewWorks was created from a simple belief: dance deserves
more spaces for artistic creation beyond competitions, commercial performances, and social
media.
It is a platform where choreographers can develop new ideas, dancers can experience an
immersive creative process, and audiences can witness fresh, original work created
specifically for the stage.
The inaugural edition will take place in Delhi, bringing together some of the city’s most
exciting choreographers and dancers for an evening that celebrates creativity, collaboration,
and new movement.
At its heart, NewWorks is about dancers.
Our vision is to cultivate a thriving dance community where artists feel supported, original
work is valued, and meaningful creative opportunities continue to grow.
We aspire to build a platform where choreographers can confidently develop new work,
dancers can deepen their artistic practice, and audiences can experience the excitement of
discovering original choreography.
