Tanya Chauhan is a dancer, choreographer, and movement educator with an international performance and teaching career spanning India and New York City. She has performed with renowned companies and productions, including The Jack Cole Dancers, Radio City Music Hall, New York Fashion Week, and numerous commercial and theatrical productions. Passionate about both performance and community building, Tanya is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for artists to learn, collaborate, and grow.

She founded NewWorks with the belief that dance deserves dedicated spaces for original creation beyond competitions and commercial performances. Her vision is to cultivate an environment where choreographers can create fearlessly, dancers can engage in authentic artistic processes, and audiences can experience fresh, original work. Guided by the philosophy, “We have to create our own environment. Be the change you want to see,” Tanya hopes NewWorks will become a platform that empowers artists and strengthens the dance community, one original work at a time.
